This happened to me on my 11th birthday when I received a 45 single of Captain Zoom that  incorporated MY name into the lyrics. I proudly blared “My name is Zoom and I live on the Moon… Hey, MARY! It’s your birthday today!” so much that my older brother memorized the song. For the past 40 years, on my birthday, I can always count on a serenade of Captain Zoom’s wishes from him. This customized gift ignited my passion for all things personalized. I'm a wife, a mother of two grown boys, a runner, a traveler, a dog lover, and an avid thank you note writer. The etiquette of the thank you note is something that I have worked hard to instill in my children.

When my sons started having birthday parties, I would design and print unique thank you notes to fit their personalities, interests, or the theme of the party. Having their own special card made them excited to say thank you to their friends and family for gifts they received. Everyone raved over the fact that not only had the boys written a thank you note, but the whimsical designs and personalization that I created.  Other moms caught onto my trick to motivate my children and started ordering my personalized cards for their kids.

Since 2010 Paper Moon Shop has evolved and expanded as my boys have grown into young men. They actually write thank you notes without a reminder!

We now offer a large selection of folded and flat panel stationery styles for people of all ages, businesses, and even pets!  Once return address labels started, customers then requested labels for wedding party favors, homemade holiday treats, personal libraries… anything you could put a sticker on! Shoppers also have enjoyed the idea of easy-to-use tie-on tailored tags, resulting in each year we add to our gift tag collection.
